It is with a heavy heart

  • Looking at the updated tier graph for October 3rd, you'll see that each the ore has gone down in value at ISK per m3. I will cover precisely how much each ore has gone down later on in this video, so stick around if you would like to know how these rates were decided. This change is brought on by the dramatic fall in the purchase price of Mexallon within EVE Echoes ISK the past week, losing over 46% of it's value. Scordite is still the ore you would like to be focusing on in large sec because of it having the highest output of Pyerite, which is still in demand. Dark Ochre and Pyroxeres can be discovered in some 0.5 high sec systems with routine 4 asteroid belts and clusters, so be sure too search for dark ochre and pyroxeres first if you are in one of those 0.5 systems and then turn your attention on scordite in your high sec mining.

Low sec has seen some dramatic changes with Gneiss falling all the way down from first on the list to last because of it's reprocessing output containing considerable quantities of Mexallon and Isogen, that have fallen considerably in price over the past week. Hemorphite has fallen two tiers after being over taken in value from peroxeres and spodumain. All these ores are present within 40 ISK/m3 of each other which is great news for low sec retriever pilots due to not having the ability to target specific ores while utilizing strip mining. This means regardless of what ore you're targeting there are no"bad" ores like there are in reduced sec with veldspar and plagioclase. Gneiss will recover it's value if mexallon goes up in price so if you have a substantial quantity of gneiss now, it's best to hold onto it until Mexallon prices start to rise again.

For null sec Jaspet has become king in 323 ISK/m3 because of it's large reprocessing output of both zydrine and noxcium. Crokite and Hedbergite aren't far behind, both coming in at just over 300 ISK/m3 with this week's grade chart. Crokite has a big reprocessing output of noxcium and zydrine that has helped it jump up on the list as these two minerals have stabilized in cost across the 2000 ISK mark. Hedbergite also has retained most of it's value by having these two minerals in addition to EVE Mobile ISK Buy pyerite in it has reprocessing output. Therefore, if you're in null sec performing your mining, concentrate on these three ores in the forthcoming weeks to maximize your profits.
