  • The Ghostbusters Ecto-1, as well as other cosmetics, have been brought back to the game by the developers of Rocket League, who have introduced yet another familiar car to the game. The release of the latest Cheap Rocket League Items vehicle coincides with the release of the new Ghostbusters film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which is scheduled to be released on November 18th.

Only this year has there been an explosion of movie tie-in content for Rocket League players to enjoy in the free-to-play game. Players who want to bring a little bit of movie magic to their soccer games typically have a limited amount of time to acquire new themed cosmetics, which are often sold in packages that include extras such as decals and wheels. While not a piece of movie content, the BMW 240i was the most recent branded addition to Rocket League, which was introduced earlier this month.

Players will be able to take the wheel of the classic car once more, according to Rocket League. The bundle will also include the Ecto-1 Reel Life Decal, Reel Afterlife Decal, Ecto-1 Engine Audio, BK Wheel, Spirits Boost, and RTV Trail, according to the company's official Twitter account. The Ecto-1 Bundle will cost 1,100 Credits in total, with the vehicle available for purchase separately for 500 Credits. The items are now available for purchase in-game for a limited time period only.

Ghostbusters fans will almost certainly be unable to resist the latest Rocket League content, which will provide them with yet another opportunity to win matches in one of the most recognizable vehicles in the world. While the infamous car has previously appeared in the game, the Ecto-1 will now have a more tarnished and weathered appearance, in keeping with the theme of the new film, which takes place 30 years after the first.

As was expected, the new Ghostbusters rocket league item content will not be available indefinitely, with the items in the Item Shop being removed from the game on November 22. Ghostbusters: Afterlife ScARe, which will be released on mobile devices on November 19, will allow users to capture ghosts in their real-world surroundings.
